Mainseal II (Mechanical) is a two component polymeric compound formulated for sealing leaking mechanical joints on cast iron gas pipes. The product is supplied in a side-by-side cartridge fitted with a static mixer nozzle and is dispensed using a specially designed application gun. As this material relies on the reaction of the two mixed components to form a soft flexible polymer it is not dependent on the absence of oxygen to cure. It will work in either aerobic or anaerobic conditions.
