To celebrate VE Day, ALH Systems in Westbury hosted a heartfelt afternoon tea with a twist—bringing together the rich traditions of British and Polish heritage.

Recognising the significance of this historic day for both nations and the valued contribution of our Polish team members, we created a menu that beautifully blended the best of British and Polish cuisine.

Our team enjoyed classic English fare, alongside traditional Polish treats. The fusion of flavours delighted tastebuds and reflected the unity and shared history between the UK and Poland during WWII.

The event was successful, brimming with warmth, conversation, and remembrance. It offered a unique opportunity for staff and residents to unite, reflect on the past, and celebrate the peace and freedom that VE Day represents.
